Tom was born September 8, 1954, in Chicago, IL to James and Delores (Hogan) Benda. He proudly served in the United States Army. Tom was very patriotic and enjoyed Harley Davidson's. He is survived by his brother, James (Pam) Benda of Phoenix, AZ; best buddy and cousin, Bill (Tresea) Perschall of Shirley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A public visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1102 Airport Rd, Bloomington, Illinois 61704, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Thomas will be laid to rest in East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1002 Airport Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704-2524.
