Tammy June Barnes

She was born in Bloomington on March 26th, 1967.

Tammy is survived by her father, Stephen (Judith) Barnes; mother, Linda Kay (Penn) Drane; step-father, Mark W. Drane; daughter, Maggie Jo Vaughn; nieces, Ally June Jaspers and Elizabeth Jaspers; cousins: Shawn Fiker, Mike Penn, Tony Penn, Eric Penn, Ryan Penn, Jeff Penn, and Lacy Fidler; and half-sisters, Susan Sullivan and Stephanie Jumper.

She is preceded in death by sister, Polly Jo Jaspers; uncles, Ronnie Barnet and David Penn; paternal grandparents, Linus and Louise Barrett; and maternal grandfather, Paul S. Penn.

Tammy loved football, especially the Bears, playing poker with friends, golf, and shopping trips up to her favorite team’s home city, Chicago. She was known for her giving heart and willingness to always lend money, time, or just a listening ear to anyone who needed a helping hand.

A visitation will be held from 12pm-2pm on Friday, December 20th, with a service immediately following. A burial will be conducted following the service at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
