He was born October 16, 1955 in Bloomington, IL, son ofArthur and Dorothy Wheatley Kiper. He shared a common marriage with Samantha Barnette, whom he’s made his home with since March 8, 1999. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Andrew Kiper of Carlock and Robert John Isaacson of Bloomington; three daughters, Ashley Barnette, Isabella Pate and Cherylanna Pate, all of Bloomington; siblings, John (Jody) Kiper, Jennifer McCurdy, LaVerne (Leland) Dickey, Kathy (Loren) Dyson and Eugene “Possum” Kiper and his brother/best friend, George Wilson of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Wilma Kiper and Pat Salmon.
Bobby worked as a delivery driver for Warehouse Direct, last working on March 7, 2012. He loved music and his three faithful companions, his chihauhau’s, Ginger, Cinnamon and Peppermint. Bobby also enjoyed tinkering with firearms and was an avid shooter.
He was a devoted to his family; a loving husband, father and a faithful friend. Bobby and his best bud, George, were always helping a friend, whether it be fixing computers or helping to move boxes.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
