He was born July 25, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. Peter earned a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. He was employed by GE Healthcare as an electrical engineer for over 36 years.
Peter was a member of Vale Church in Bloomington, Illinois. He was a strong believer in God and never stopped his passion for enjoying motorcycle trips with friends, hiking and other outdoor activities. He enjoyed many camping trips with family and friends. He was always willing to assist anyone who needed help; which included going on several mission trips to other countries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Lydia.
Surviving are his wife Paula Craig whom he married on September 19, 1981, his sister Kathryn Craig and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be 11:30 Friday, November 10, 2023, at East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL 61704. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Illinois Cancer Care.
