Nancy M. Risser

Nancy M. Risser, 62, of Bloomington, passed away at 6:40 A.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Palm Terrace of Matton in Matton, IL.

She was born May 4, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of James and LaVerne Baker Scott, She married Robert Risser of Bloomington in 1972 in Bloomington, he survives her.

Nancy is also survived by two daughters Megan (Steve) Shapiro of Frankfort, IL and Amanda Risser of Austin, TX, three grandchildren; Breanna, Hope and Daniel Shapiro all of Frankfort, IL, one sister; Barb (Greg) Baker of Las Vegas NV, one brother; Tim (Sarah) Scott and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy enjoyed a career as a business manager and part owner of a nail school in the Bloomington area.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Burial will take place following services at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.
