Mary Anne Lindsey

She was born March 21, 1956 to Francis and Anne (DeCoste) Leary in Spring Valley, IL. She married William Lindsey July 2, 2005 in Bloomington, he survives.

She is also survived by daughter Ranie Wilburn of Bloomington, two sons Gene Kelly of Bloomington, Joe (Alisa Bialaski) Kelly of Normal; four stepsons Mark (Amber) Lindsey of Pittsfield, IL, Matt (Courtney White) Lindsey of Barry, IL, Michael Lindsey of Cooksville, IL, Lucas Lindsey of Bloomington; eleven grandkids; two great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Glenn Leary.

Mary was a graduate of University High Normal Class of 1974. She was a cafeteria manager for Gridley School. She loved to cook, and was always cooking something for her family. Mary had a huge love of animals. She had a therapy dog Sissy, and they would go to OSF to visit the cancer patients. William and Mary spent a lot of time on their motorcycle going on trips together. Above all Mary loved her family, they were everything to her. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be Saturday August 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St Mary’s Church in Bloomington. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to Illinois Cancer Care of Bloomington or Wishbone Rescue.
