Mark Humble, 61, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 surrounded by his family at OSF St. Joseph. He was born March 4, 1962 in Kewanee, IL to Larry and Elizabeth “Betty” (Duytschaver) Humble.
Mark was a family man and master craftsman, who never met a stranger. He had a fondness for watching NASCAR and traveling and loved making new friends as well as being outdoors; whether it was for hunting, woodworking, or 4-wheeling. Mark also enjoyed water skiing and knee boarding. He won 3rd place in the nationals one year for knee boarding. Above all else, Mark loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife of 17 years, Heidi; children, Cassandra Humble, Stephanie (Zak) Paxton, George Bryan; grandchildren, Alexis Randall, Aspen Hoog, Harley Hoog, Jake Paxton; great-grandson, Korbin Carter; siblings, Teri (John) Goembel, Lynda (Scott) Baugh; aunt, Kay Heaton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two beloved dogs, Camo and Digger “Special Ed”.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Larry and Elizabeth “Betty” Humble; and uncle, Fred John “Dutch” Dutschaver Jr.
Cremation rites have been accorded with East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A public visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
