She was born in Philadelphia, moving to Normal in 1970 where she raised her five boys who were the joys of her life. She retired from State Farm in 2003.
Judy was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted Christian who never missed an opportunity to tell others about Jesus and help them in need. No one was a stranger; she loved everyone. Judy was joyful and joy filled. Her joy overflowed onto everyone that came around her.
Her heart was a servant heart. She served her church, cared for neighbors and friends, and was a loving Hospice volunteer.
Judy loved gardening, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with loved ones. She was a true patriot who loved her country. She loved cooking so much that she could cook a five-course meal for a picnic! She was so devoted to her walk with the Lord that we are sure Mother Teresa would call her for advice. Judy was our angel on Earth. She had no fear of death because she knew she would be with Jesus. She was the true meaning of love and in the right light, you could probably see her angel wings. Her mark is forever embedded in our hearts.
Judy is survived by her five sons, Michael (Christy) Moberly of Illinois; Charlie (Pauline Marincic) Moberly of Illinois; Dave (Laura) Moberly of Florida; James (Danell) Moberly of Illinois; and Paul (Courtney Lucas) Moberly of Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Matthew, Austin, Jake, and Brandi; and a great-grandchild Emma Moberly, all of whom she loved spending time with. She also has eight “grand-dogs,” as well as her own beloved dog, Buddy.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her youngest brother, Bob Wheeler; and her oldest grandson, Tommy Moberly.
