She was born June 10, 1933 in Piper City, IL, daughter of William R. and Letta May Perry Ziehr. She married Clayton E. Adams on October 18, 1953 in Dwight, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Carolyn S. Adams of Normal; one sister, Kathryn Janssen of Dwight and her honorary granddaughter, Megan Stewart of Corpus Christi, TX and many nieces and nephews.
Iva was a 1952 graduate of Reddick High School. She retired from the medical field where she worked as a CNA.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.
