He was a God fearing man, a family man with a good heart. He was also quite the jokster, always loved to make people laugh. He believed in empowerment, mentoring, and coaching from the young to the old. Sports medicine was his future aspiration goal for school.
He coached for 17 years (JFK football, high school football, high school girls track and field, semi pro football) He played a role in the 2006 6A division championship with Normal Community High School
He is survived by his mother, Dale Annette Herman, his father, Donnelly Jackson, Sr; his sister, Ashley L. Jackson; an aunt and uncle.
Visitation services to celebrate the life of Donnelly Jackson will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL 61704.
