Don't Cry For Me Please don't cry for me, I don't want you to be sad. If only you knew where I was you really would be glad. No longer could I stay with you, For I had nothing on Earth to gain. But a world of suffering and hard aches and so much misery and pain. I appreciate what you've done for me, when my life on earth was rough. But my Lord came and said to me, my child you have suffered enough. So please, be happy for me, wipe the tears from your eyes. I'm in a beautiful place with my lord and savior up in the sky. But, I want you to live for Jesus, ask him to show you the way. And I will be with you again loved ones on the great judgment day. Love you Daddy, from your baby-girl Roberta. I'm FreeDon't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard His call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not have stay another birthday, to laugh, to love, to work or play, for I have found peace at the end of the day. My tasks left undone must stay that way. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with my memories of joy. A father, grandfather and great grandfather shared, a laugh, a kiss, O yes these things I truly will miss. For be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you.. the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full of sun and rain, I savored much good friends, good times, an loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief, lift up your heads and hearts. Peace to thee, God wanted me now; for he has set me free.
