Charlene Moore, 77, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at her home. She was born November 13, 1940 in Bloomington, the daughter of Wesley and Ruby Wood. She married James Moore on August 25, 1990. He survives.
Charlene enjoyed watching television, especially her wrestling programs. She also liked country and western music, and eating at local restaurants. She loved animals, especially dogs and birds.
In addition to her husband, Charlene is survived by five children, Brenda Sue (Roger) Durbin of Bloomington; Julie Ann Marlett of Bloomington; Debra (Daniel) Boitnott of Bloomington; Greg (Christina) Marlett of Bloomington; and Terry (Theresa) Marlett of Moweaqua; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and six siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two previous husbands, a granddaughter, and four siblings.
Services will be held Friday, June 1st at 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.
