Carrie F. Kemp

Carrie F. Kemp, 89, of Bloomington passed away November 24, 2015 at Heritage Health Manor in Normal, IL. She was born February 17, 1926 in Hartford, KY to Garmon and Eva (Patton) Kessinger. She married William Homer Kemp in Beaver Dam, KY in June of 1943.

She was a soft, quiet, sister, wife and mother, who was both business like but had a good sense of humor. She had a sweet tooth. She loved to travel and trolling for good buys. She also loved going to church with her family.

Carrie is survived by her son Eddie (Kathy) Kemp; her sister Eyvoughn Reinitz; brothers Jim (Mary Jane) Kessinger and Windell (Joyce) Kessinger; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Homer, sisters Alma Williams and Dorothy Daniels, brother Walt Kessinger.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 10-12 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd., Bloomington, with the service to begin at 12pm. Burial will follow the service at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bloomington. Please leave condolences for the family at www.eatlawn-bloomington.com.
