There will be a private viewing for immediate family and close friends by invitation only. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, to lay Angela Lyn finally to rest.
Angie was born February 26,1968 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of William Elvan and Karla Jeanne Powell Gipson. Her mother survives. Angie was preceded in death by her father, William; two sisters, Lisa Gipson and Laurie Tracewski and a special niece; Rachelle Gipson-Mattocks along with her mother-in-law; Mona Devall.
Angie gave birth to two children, whom she loved more than life itself; Bryson Roland and Breanna Smith (Gipson). The closest thing to God's love is "The love of a Mother for her children" and she certainly carried that love in her heart.
Later in life, she married Elvin Devall on 03/18/2017- and was the happiest of brides that day, all survive.
Angie dearly loved all of her sisters and had a special bond with her only brother Andrew, aka "Andy-The Red". Her surviving sisters are; Tina (Jon) Smith, Beth (Ryan) Dowell, Kati (Chad) Brown and Kristi (Nick) Plaster. She has two nieces; Kimberly and Heather, two nephews; Brandon and Corey, and two great nieces; Madeline and Hensley, in her life, all of the Gipson family.
She was welcomed into the Devall family by her new Father-In-Law; Carl,
and two stepchildren; Cordell & Joseph, and a brother-in-law; Melvin Devall, who is Elvin's twin.
We are certain that she was embraced with loving arms by family & friends, as she passed through Heaven's gate. Her memories will be cherished here on Earth - Forever.
