Wanda's childhood years was in Iowa and Missouri. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in Storm Lake Iowa. At North Central Bible College in Minneapolis Minnesota following the will of God, she then Graduated majoring in Music. During her time at North Central she met Don Shoff and later married him on April 6, 1951. Don became an Assemblies of God pastor and together they Pastored churches in Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and California.
Wanda gave piano lessons, taught music in public schools, and worked as a secretary. She had many part-time jobs, but her main strengths were given to her family and sharing the responsibilities of ministry with her husband. 50 years she ministered beside her husband teaching, leading children's church, directing choirs, playing the organ, and many other talents she did for God blessing all the churches.
Wanda went home to be with her Savior and Lord on February 18, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Donald L. Shoff, her older sister Betty Fjorback, her younger brother Rev. Bill Bell and Giovanni Shoff (Great Granchild)
Wanda is survived by her youngest brother Wayne Bell in Fayetteville, and her three sons and their wives: Loren Shoff and his wife Susan of Blue Springs, MO. Pastor Timothy Shoff and his wife Linda of Palmdale, CA. Pastor Brent Shoff and his wife Eunice of Palmdale, CA.
There are eight grandchildren that she loved and enjoyed. Angela, Jonathan, Megan, Jason, Andrew, Leah, Laura and Luke. Elias is her great-grandchild.
Wanda enjoyed music, her family, art, and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. she hopes that her life became a witness and example to others of what Christian-living exemplifies. And that her Faith displayed praise for God in the good times as well as the tough times. Wanda has now graduated once again and has moved to heaven and she is rejoicing with her Savior.
