Sylvia was born to Victor Hernandez and Mary Louise Rios-Aguayo, July 16, 1958, in San Bernardino, California. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1976. She married Steven Delgado in 1984, and they lived together in San Bernardino, California.
She leaves as her legacy her Godson/nephew Richard Galan, great niece Olivia Galan and her beloved pet Daisy in addition to aunts, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her memory 2 siblings, Carolyn Michelle Galan (Richard),Rialto, and Cindy,San Diego. Her family remembers her as a loving, giving, and protective person to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by Mary Lou, mother, Manuel and Frances Rios, grandparents, Connie Rodriguez, aunt, Daniel Rios, uncle, Richard Rios, uncle and Christopher Castellanos, Godson.
Sylvia was a dedicated homemaker and wife to Steven. She was passionate about keeping a marvelous garden, crafting and sewing for her family and friends, including making face masks to protect her family during covid, and she was adamant about gathering her family together for any event possible to keep a tight knit bond.
A mass is scheduled for December 10, 2021, 11am at Saint Catherine's of Sienna Church in Rialto. A reception will follow at The Knights of Columbus on Western Avenue in San Bernardino. The family requests that donations be made to gofundme at www.gofundme.com/f/sylvia-anne-delgado-memorial-fund.
The family would also like to thank Kindred Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga for being extravagant with their empathy and showing care for our family during this tough time.
