Sylvia L. Cogdill

(1939-2022)

Sylvia Lucille Walker-Cogdill, 83 of Highland, California passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022.

She was born on April 13, 1939, in Ventura, California. Survivors include daughter Debby Walker-Johnson and her husband Sam of Marana, Arizona; daughter Denise Norman of Torrance, California;

granddaughters Shannen Norman and Stephanie Norman; great-grandson Hudson Gilmor; nephews Russell II (Smokey) Fullingim of Salt Lake City, Utah and Alexander (Alex) Fullingim, of Red Bluff, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lucille Fullingim; brother, Russell Everett Fullingim; husband; Murphy Waldo Walker (1957-1985); husband; William Franklin (Bill) Cogdill (1990-2003) and son-in-law Mark Norman.

Sylvia was a retired secretary for San Bernardino School District and a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the small chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church, Highland, California.
