Mrs.Malone , you will forever be a reflection of God’s grace and mercy, as well , as a prime representation of unconditional acceptance of all, while operating  in a spirit of kindness.  Your unwavering spirit which reflected compassion and fairness is the underpinnings of why you shall forever be greatly respected, and will  leave a legacy of goodness as you treated all with dignity, compassion and fairness. 
Mrs. Malone, I shall always remember how you immediately stepped into a role of mentorship as I started my tour at RJH in 1998, in Group 7.  While conversing you advised me to stay true to me, be fair and consistent with minors and staff and I would thrive in my role and lastly you advised to not let the money which could be earned cause me to lose sight of my personal dreams and aspirations, not to let money come before my family and friends because then my job would became a burden and void of the passion to assist those I encountered while working at RJH.
Once I was no longer at RJH our connection as colleagues grew even stronger, determined to stay connected, supportive and empowering of each other. I will miss those shared moments of sisterhood, through shared meals, laughter and inspirational messages. Mrs. Malone our daily shared scriptures and inspirational quotes will be greatly missed,  as they were truly reflective of the true essence of your spirit woman. 
Loretta, I will keep your family, friends and colleagues lifted in prayer for their strength and understanding. I know  you are in God’s presence and reunited with Mr. Malone, so I know you are at peace my friend ! 


  Those we love are never really lost to us- for their special love lives on...

You once told me “ life is full of experiences both good and bad. But the main point is to learn from them and ALWAYS move forward.” I find myself looking through our old messages and although it makes me sad there’s so many lessons that you had given me throughout the years and I’ll have with me forever. I always admired your work ethic, and how you carried yourself with such poise and lightheartedness. And I am so grateful for the 23 years that I had with you. I love you dearly and I know I’ll  see you again. Rest peacefully. <3

To The Dumas-Malone Family, I want to express my deepest condolences and send  prayers 🙏🏽to your family. I had the pleasure of working with Loretta at RIVCO Juvenile Hall from 2000-2005, when she was Duty Officer I knew it would be a smooth shift. Loretta was amazing in the manner in which she supported and empowered women working in Corrections and Probation. I truly admired the way Loretta handled adverse situations with such dignity and grace. Rest in Heaven Loretta, you will be missed dearly.

To the Dumas and Malone family so very very sorry for your loss..🙏🏾🙏🏾.. I worked with Loretta at Juvenile Hall.. we had so many good times working on pot lucks, holiday celebrations and birthdays.. She was a mentor and confidante when I needed her .. when Robert worked there they were that power couple and loved seeing them together.. our JZ and Beyonce.. your physical presence will be missed but we know you are in a better place with no more pain or suffering.. Loretta, know that you made a difference in the lives of others.. be with Robert and love eternally..


My SistaFriend Loretta: I had to gather my thoughts from the many memories and tears. 
Phenomenal Woman you are.. 
Plenty of Laughter, Love, Potluck and Tears from working at Juvenile Hall. 
Integrity was your name.  My SistaFriend you walked with grace, silence from your voice but your big beautiful eyes spoke volume with making sure inmates and staff did the “Right” thing. Your presence was so powerful with a calming demeanor until when you promoted to Supervisor mandated overtime was a blessing when you overseen the institution because everyone felt safe and you my SistaFriend was “Surreal”.
Dynamic Mentor and one of the best cheerleaders with your eyes and silence with encouraging me to promote as a Senior Group Counselor.
Appreciative with plenty of applause from your smile when Marsha Dinkin and I were able to celebrity Steve Harvey at the hall.
Everyone taking pictures and when you put your film in the store to get developed. The store told you they lost them and when you told Marsha and I your big beautiful eyes and voice of silence and Marsha and I had the voice and said you already know what happened and all we could do was laugh.
SistaFriend you gave me encouragement that truth always will come to light and you was right.

Mr Malone, (R.I.P)  and Sistafriend were the most powerful and highly respected couple then and now “Heaven” had the gates waiting for my beloved Sista’Friend.

Lotetta, you were loved and admired in your life. I still remember your laugh when i would tease you about being a cheerlead. Blame it on Debbie because she is the one who told me.  Aye, what a team we were in group 7, You, Debbie and me. We were so young and had not a care in our lives.  You proved to be the real warrior.  So soar way like an eagle and go to Robert’s side, where all love is.  Love to your family and friends!


I met Mrs. Malone several months or so after coming to the probation department back in 2001. She was a wonderful person towards me from the beginning. She really made me feel like family when she took interest in my son's birth. She was always happy to hear about him and see his baby pictures. After while she told me, "Now Smith, it's time for you and your wife to have more kids." But as we never did Mrs. Malone commented by saying, "You didn't listen did you?" I enjoyed her laid back demeanor and quiet strength. Even when she had to address me as my supervisor. She always represented her professionalism while at the same time showing that she really cared. I will truly miss her. So I would like to express my deepest condolences and prayers of strength to her family. 

My condolences to the Malone and Dumas family. Mrs. Malone was one of a kind queen.  I met her at juvenile hall and even though she was not my direct supervisor when I strated, she took me under her wing and gave words of encouragement and kindness. I truly admired Mrs. Malone for how real and honest she was, and especially how she made you feel she had your back and would support us staff.  May she rest in eternity. She will be missed greatly. 

My Angel on earth is how I’d like to describe this beautifully amazing Godly Lady. I feel very blessed to have been given a gift so precious as Loretta to have as my sister in Christ and a friend in this world, words cannot explain the feelings and respect I have for her. Our  Tuesday woman’s bible study was a blessing in itself, but to have her as my sister in Christ my mentor my prayer warrior My angel on earth who unselfishly would teach and share the Gospel not only by beautiful pictures with wonderful words and a scripture to follow but she would go a step further and give an explanation of the word for that day “ WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LADY LORETTA IS” her daily devotions was something I looked forward too everyday I feel she was anointed by God because the scriptures always in some how someway have something to do with me or someone I love or know amazing gift she had. Should a situation come where I needed her she was always there no matter the issue she this beautiful Godly Lady took time out of her own life to help me and I’m sure many others . I love you Loretta my sister I miss you so much you mean so much to me I know your with Jesus I know your safe free of any pain and at peace I just miss you so much. To your family and friend’s my deepest sincere condolences my heart and prayers go out to each and everyone of you I’m very sorry I don’t know what words to say to you all  other than I’m truly sorry and my heart hurts for you all,  but I know she was a very loving Lady and I’m sure with everything in me she had so much love in her heart for everyone and we will see her again and I will keep you all in my prayers God be with all of you be safe stay safe always keep your faith and never give up hope nor praying its with the help of Jesus that I’m able to write this because I feel so broken as I’m sure many of us are , but thank you for allowing me to share my love for her Amen. 

My deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. Loretta was a beautiful soul that could brighten any room. She will be missed but will be carried in my heart.  To her son Marquise I send my prayers for comfort and peace. To Janice her sister,  my love and prayers for the comfort in knowing she is in a far better place with our heavenly father. To her nephews Buddha and Johnny man and niece Markisha I send my love, hugs ,and  prayers that they too be comforted by heavenly angels. Mrs Malone was a supervisor while I was at RJH from 2000 to 2006. I also worked with her husband at Van Horn Youth Center. Mrs. Malone was always respectful and was nothing but class personified. 

Mrs. Malone you are a true inspiration. Thank you for being there for me in my time of need. I am going to miss your daily scriptures and words of encouragement. You are a beautiful soul inside and out.  I enjoyed working with you at Juvenile Hall during my time there.  You will truly be missed!!

I have known Loretta since Junior High School, Shandin Hills and  became even closer at Cajon High School. We danced together ❤️  in the same group called StarChild and would rehearse at each other's homes.  I have known her to always be so sweet and kind.  I never ever heard her gossip or talk about other people
....there was a Hugh gap of none communication but seemed to.connect again about 10 years ago and in the past 2 to 3 years recieved beautiful Bible versus scriptures broken down everyday  which became a daily devotion to me...if I didn't read my Word on a particular day I would recieve a Word from her that would be so on time with what I am dealing with!  She blessed  🙌🏾 my soul and heart so much...she was so consistent and unwavering and I know she is at Rest and at Peace in the Loving Arms of our Heavenly Father!  I miss her dearly 😢 

I met Loretta  at Rio Vista elementary school and thought she was the most beautiful girl.  After grade school I didn't see her again until last year I had the privilege of celebrating my birthday party at the Tartan in Redlands, it was a honor having her presence. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the Malone Family.  Mrs. Malone and I met at RJH and she was an awesome supervisor with that quiet strength.  Mrs. Malone was a beautiful person inside and out.  We had the opportunity to continue to connect and have dinners, and lunches throughout the years even after we both left RJH.   She will truly be missed, she will forever be loved, and she will never be forgotten! ❤️

So sorry for your loss to the Malone and Dumas families.She was a great leader and trainer. I worked with her when I first started working for RJH she was very patient with me and taught me a lot working with juvenile delinquents .
