Leonard Paez Quiroz was born on November 06, 1930 in Fontana, CA. He was the son of Sabina Paez Quiroz and Carmen Quiroz, and brother to Manuel and Joe Quiroz. Leonard was born and raised in Fontana, CA, and he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on February 26, 2020.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Retana Quiroz, and by their three children Jim Quiroz, Josie Quiroz, and Ramona (Earl) Elsea. As well as their six grandchildren; Eric Quiroz, Hilary Quiroz, Jeremy (Amber) Quiroz, Ariel (Gabriel) Chavez, Nicolai Quiroz, and Kasie (Joe) Amaya, and their eight great-grandchildren; Ryan, Jessi Love, Zyra, Lana, Gage, Maverik, Lily, and Grant.
He enjoyed being outside working on cars, doing yard work, watching auto races, western and war movies, completing word search puzzles, spending time with family and friends, enjoying music and sports (football and NASCAR), playing his guitar in his younger years, and traveling (including Alaska, Arizona, Canada, Catalina Island, Hawaii, Mexico, Utah and Washington State.)
Leonard most of all loved his family and friends. Thank You all for being a part of his life. As he always said, "Never say goodbye, See you later."
