Mr Julio The godfather of Mira Loma Salitre Alvarez

Julio was born on June 17, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Cornelio and Felipa Salitre. He was 2nd born of 11 children, 7 boys and 4 girls. He met the love of his life Beverly in 1967 through a mutual friend but it wasn't until 1973 that their platonic relationship became a romantic one. They both had children from previous marriages and between the both of them they were blessed with 8 children.

Julio is survived by wife, soul mate and best friend Beverly, remaining son Jesus Salitre, remaining daughters Rose, Veronica, Christina, Jennifer and Manuela...as well as grandchildren, Sabrina, Julia, Steven, Michael, Angel, JJ, Isaiah, Liliana, Alicia, Ana, Jessica, Eric Jr. Francisco, and Jesus Jr. And great grandchildren Kaden, Conner, Emily and Axxel.

He was diagnosed with diverticulitis and colon cancer in 2009. With modern medicine, prayer and support he beat that but then in March 2018 was diagnosed with liver cancer. Although he fought the good fight for as long as he could, unfortunately he was called home by our maker at 3:02 am on 2/14/2023.
