Judy Badillo passed away peacefully on September 25, 2020. She was born March 28, 1944 in Wapato, Washington. She was raised with her 13 brothers and sisters whom she loved very much and helped care for. Venturing out of Washington, she moved to California with her young daughter Tina Marie and began working at Two Guys department store. It was at this store where she met the love of her life Jim and was married to him for 45 years.
After marrying Jim, she had four more daughters: Denise, Debra, Jamie, and Julie. It made her happy to spend time with her daughters and so she volunteered as a room mother for each of her daughters’ classes every year. Many thought she was a teacher because she was so crafty and was at the school everyday. Her cooking skills were incomparable to any TV chef of today and she taught her daughters everything she knew.
Judy was not only an amazing sister, mother, and wife, she was a kind and caring grandmother. She babysat almost every grandchild from birth to just before her passing. Her grandchildren enjoyed jumping on her couch, having ice cream before bed, and playing with toys on the floor near her. Amanda, Dustin, Samantha, Chelsie, Ian, Joshua, Isabella, Nathaniel, Eva, Gavin, Amia, and Noah will definitely miss their loving grandma.
Although Judy never had any biological sons, she thought of her son-in-laws as her own children. Her words of wisdom and hugs will be missed by Joshua, Thomas, Armando, and Greg.
Judy leaves a lasting memory to all of her family and friends. They will never forget her funny laugh, her caring touch, beautiful smile, and her love for glass chickens. She will hold a special place in each of their hearts forever.
