After Ted separated from the military, he met his loving wife of 32 years Darlene Vivian Jones whom preceded him in death in 1989. This marriage joined together a family of nine children. Margetta Isby, Rosetta Isby, Wilfred George, Frank George, Cleotis George, Silester Moore who(preceded him in death), Janice Dumas, Loretta Dumas and Fred L. Ted was a proud man with a big heart. His character was magnetic and throughout his life he mentored many children who viewed him as a role model and a pseudo dad. He was loved and respected by everyone, which was evident in his yearly birthday parties that seemed to unite all family and friends who came out to help him celebrate his special day.
On May 5, 2012, we loss our patriarch. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten as his memories will live on in those lives he touched along the way.
