Fred Louis Dumas Jr. was born to Fred Louis Dumas Sr. and Darlene Vivian Dumas on March 27, 1963 in Riverside CA. Fred, lovingly called "Jr." by his family and close friends, grew up in San Bernardino CA where he attended schools Muscott Elementary, Kendall Elementary, Shandin Hills Middle School and Cajon High School.
Jr. was the youngest of nine children and grew up playing sports which included little & junior league baseball and he loved high school football.
He was very good at both sports however, football ended for him abruptly due to a severe knee injury.
After high school, Jr. immediately went to work with his dad at Frankel Iron & Metal Co., which after several years became S & A Recycling Co. He remained a dedicated employee until January of 2016 when he separated from the company after 36 years.
During that time, Jr. married his wife of 25 Years, Sheila Dumas on September 25, 1992 and lovingly raised his only son Marcus Sanders.
Jr. was a good and kind man. He was always smiling and joking and when you were around him it was an enjoyable time.
In the year of 2015, Jr. shared with family his decision to accept Jesus Christ as his LORD and Savior. He did not realize at the time that this decision would serve as a major comfort to him in the battle that lay ahead.
In March of 2016, Jr. was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He battled this disease like the fighter he was for almost a year, but was tired and the LORD took him home to rest on February 1, 2017.
Jr. was preceded in death by his father Fred Dumas Sr., mother
Darlene Dumas, brother Sir Lester Moore, nephews Isaac Moore and
Marcus Smith and brother-in-law Robert Malone.
He leaves behind his wife, Sheila Dumas, son Marcus Sanders, daughter-in-law Amanda Sanders and grandsons; Kingston, Azriel, Preston and Logan Sanders. Brothers; Wilfred George, Frank George and Cleotis George. Sisters; Margetta Hardin, Rosetta Smith, Janice Dumas and Loretta Dumas-Malone. Brother-in laws, Patrick Garland and Howard Smith.

Jr. was our baby brother, but he felt like our big brother. He was a big guy with a big smile and a bigger heart. Towards the end, Jr. wasn't so big anymore, but his heart was. He will be sorely missed by everyone.
