He was a truck driver for Jaynes Trucking in Elizabeth for many years. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in WWII. and recipient of 3 medals and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield (www.zarrofuneralhome.net) on Tuesday, January 20th at 9:00am followed by a mass at St. Peter’s Church, Belleville at 10:30 am. The burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Monday January 19th, from 3-7 pm.
Michael is survived by his loving children , Michael and his wife, Theresa, James and Jo Ann Pearson and her husband, Joseph; cherished grandchildren, Kim, Michael, Brian and Chris; great grandchild, Gianna.
He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lorraine in 2011.
