Louise Russo

Louise Russo (nee Pesci), 75, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born in Newark, lived in Belleville and Bloomfield before moving to the shore where she resided in Point Pleasant and the past 20 years in Lavallette.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield on Wednesday, March 20 th at 9:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation Private, family and invited friends only. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19 th from 4-8 pm.

She was a secretary for Fallu Productions for over 20 years before her retirement in 2003. Louise was an officer and member of the Zarro Civic and Welfare Assoc. and enjoyed fundraising for children with special needs.

Louise is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Joseph Russo; her dear and loving brothers, William “Bill” Pesci and his wife, Mamie, and Joseph Pesci; her proudest and biggest role was that of a loving aunt, one she played out beautifully to her special niece, Tiffany. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (nee Mesce) and Angelo Pesci.
