James Gillespie

James Gillespie, 76, of Belleville passed away on Sunday. He was born in Montclair to the late William and Katherine Gillespie and lived most of his life in Bloomfield before moving to Belleville 14 years ago.

James was in the US Navy and when returned worked for Fluid Handling Systems in Secaucus for 30 years; He is survived by his loving children, James Gillespie, Nancy Donatiello and her husband Gerardo, and Loriann DeGiacomo and her husband David; sisters, Betty Mueller, Katherine Gillespie, and Sally Strazza; Grandchildren, Nicole, Rocco, Danielle, and Melissa. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Morley.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 4-8 pm.

A Funeral Home service will be conducted by the the Zarro Funeral Home, www.zarrofuneralhome.net). 145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield, NJ, on Wednesday night Oct. 8th at 7:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
