Anthony "Tony" Stella

Anthony “Tony” Stella, 63, passed away on Saturday, September 5th, 2015. He was born in Newark to Ann and the late Sebastian Stella and was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield. He owned his own business, Anthony Stella Carpentry Enterprises, before working as a taxi driver for the last 15 years for Belleville Cab Co.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Thursday, September 10th, 2015 at 9:00 am followed by a mass at 10:30am at St. Valentine Church, Bloomfield. The entombment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.

Tony is survived by his wife of 35 years, Grace. His Mother Ann; His children Anthony and his wife Pauline, Alissa Stella, Frank Stella, Anne Marie Dahl and her husband Shaun, and Michael Stella; Sisters, Susan Sokoloski, Rosanne Goldy, and Eleanor Amaral; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation in his honor to be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
