Zelma H. Powell, age 59, transitioned from life unto death on Saturday, November 19, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Shawnte Thomas (Mark); son, Justin Davis; grandchildren, Seth Thomas and Maysun Thomas; mother, Helen Murray (John C.); brothers, Henry Hill, Jr. (Katrina), Earnest Hill (Sharon); sister, Angela Grissom and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 10 -11am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life following at 11am. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
