Tommy was an extremely dedicated and hardworking man. His greatest passion in life was the creation and daily operation of the Williams Orchard in Trussville, a family-owned and operated business that started as a FFA project for his son, Greg. Due to his unwavering commitment to work, the Williams Orchard has grown from its early beginnings with 50 trees to over 3,500 apple trees and has become a landmark for all those who visit the area. Tommy loved caring for his orchard and had a talent for growing and maintaining flowers such as his beloved chrysanthemums. He retired from a long career with Alabama Power & Hardy prior to his work at the orchard. His legacy will live on through his family and the hard work he enjoyed.
