She was born to Robbie Ball in 1964 in Birmingham and was a graduate of Ramsay High School. Suzye loved collecting jewelry and never said no to a good bargain. She frequented thrift and antique stores.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Robbie Ball, her brother Carl Humphreys and her husband David Foote. Suzye is survived by her son, Ian Chapin; daughter, Catherine Foote; her sister, Loneta Noland and her brother, Rick Ball.
Her family would like to thank Suzye’s sister, Neta, and her bonus sisters: Debbie Williams and Ann Derzis, for being vital parts of her village.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 1:15 p.m.
