Steven D. Johnson, age 70, of Trussville, AL passed away on January 10, 2018. He was born in Alexandria, VA on November 27, 1947. Steve graduated from West End High school and received medic training from U.S. Army. He also served in Vietnam.
He was married to Linda Johnson on August 11, 1990.
Steve had a career at the United States Postal Services for 50 years. He had a passion for bass fishing, golf, bowling, Alabama football and Braves baseball.
He was survived by his wife, Linda; son, Beau W. Johnson; daughter, Jenni Lynn Johnson; step- daughters, Tanya Carey and Shawna Samples; grandchildren, Devin Lovett, Madison Sartori, Alex Johnson, Dylan Lovett, Ashytn Renda, Conner Johnson and Caleb Johnson; brother, Russell Johnson.
Family will receive friends Sunday Jan. 14, 2018 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
