I want you to know how proud I am of you!   This 12 months alone you’ve landed that job you’ve been working for designing, electrical engineering and estimating.  Using that field experience to excel.   
Purchased that car you’ve been wanting.   
Got saved, rededicated your life to Christ and baptized.   I took a picture of your note and date in your Bible.  
Excited about your new house planning landscaping. Decorating.  
Excited about your music and artwork.  Having a job that allows you to get the guitar, keyboard, and mixing equipment you’ve wanted to continue with your music.  
Your culinary wisdom.  
Yes. I am proud to call you my son.   To see you use your life experiences to help others.   To see you give to others in need.   
Yes.  Being a quiet and shy type makes it difficult in social settings.  They may not know your faith and tender heart.  But it gives you that tender heart for those who also struggle and reach out to them.   
People may read a post of some lyrics you heard and not understand.   Thanks ok.   I know you. Jesus knows you.   Your artwork and writings this week alone are amazing.  The artwork today alone shows me you’re working towards your goals!  Your excitement and passion for your work inspires me.  
You bless me in ways you don’t know.

I’m honored God chose me to be your Dad ‘little buddy’.   
I know the headaches have scared you at times. Headaches Almost to the point of being intolerable.  The feeling the doctors are missing something.  The worry something would happen as a result.   Your faith in Jesus is inspiring.   He has a plan we don’t know.   We don’t understand sometimes.   I lift you to OUR Father in Heaven that he gives us peace.

With these photos, I have the realization that some things never change. He has always been a goof ball, and bunny ears on me is just the beginning of it. He was so kind hearted and loving, so funny, and so adventurous. I know he loved his family and I love him more than words can describe. I will miss you big brother, and I'm so thankful for the memories we have together.

Solon was exactly 2 months older than me. I have great memories of going to visit my cousins and Uncle Billy in Panama City as a kid. We would ride bikes, take the boat out on the lake, and reenact movies. When we got older, Solon and his family moved to Alabama. This picture was taken in 2006, after they moved to Birmingham, when we were 15 years old. There were times we were closer and times we drifted apart but you will always be my big cousin and I will miss you dearly Solon ❤️

I want to say how very sorry we are for your loss, Billy. I can't imagine what it is like to lose a child. But, obviously, we all know where he is now, and that is comforting...to some extent. One thing I know you have, and that is a father who understands your pain. And not just your Heavenly Father. We praying for you and the family.
