Shirley W. Robinson, age 79, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020. She was originally from Jasper, AL and was a graduate of Curry High School, Class of 1960. Shirley enjoyed traveling, painting, gardening and attending the Alabaster Senior Center,. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Robinson; her parents: Harrison and Verna Wilson. Survivors include her son; Dr. Billy Robinson of New Orleans and her daughter, Sharon Robinson of Birmingham. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
