Sharon Elaine Pissanos

Passed February 10, 2023

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Pissanos and her parents Carl and Latha Pender.

She is survived by her only daughter Nicole Elaine Pissanos (Ryan Brooks) her sister Belinda Finch (Joe Finch) and her nephew Kenneth Finch (Kristen Finch) her Aunt Elizabeth Jean (Sissy) a host of cousins and loved ones, and her best friend of 67 years Kathy Murphree (Lori and Dale, Owen, Lily, Lee Jr and Kate)

She retired from Jim Walter Resources where she was adored by her coworkers who became much like family.

Never meeting a stranger, she lit up every room she entered, with her easy story telling and kept the heart of a child till the end. She was always the life of the party and guaranteed a smile on everyone's face.

She will be deeply missed but those left behind find peace and comfort in knowing she is in the arms of her Lord.

A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. A committal service will occur Friday, February 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211.
