SEALE, RUTH R., age 94 of Birmingham, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Rex K. Seale; daughter, Dianne Seale; and nieces, Betty Barlow, Annie Harris, Amy Kirchen, and Jennifer Seale. Ruth began working for Sloss Sheffield Foundry during WWII producing armaments and then as a bookkeeper for U.S. Pipe. She married Rex on August 18, 1948 and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. After retiring, Ruth and Rex built 25 miles of hiking trails at Guntersville State Park and was awarded Alabama Governor’s Certificate of Merit in 1990. Her family will receive friends on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
