Cox, Roy L., age 88 of Trussville, AL went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2012. He was a long time member of Trussville First Baptist Church, he retired from McWane Pipe Company after 30 years of service, a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris McMichael Cox; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Roy is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bowman of Trussville, AL; son, Roy Michael (Janice) Cox of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Billy Bowman, Kimberly (Chad) Dahlke, Gabriel (Marissa) Cox and Leah Cox; great grandchildren, Mallory, Madison and Bowman Dahlke; sisters, Vera Mae Davis and Bessie Ruth Wadsworth. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
