Rosemary grew up in Birmingham, Ala. and was the oldest of six children. In her youth and into her adulthood, she was incredibly supportive of the Girl Scouts. She graduated from John Carroll High School in 1961 and attended Samford University. She then went to work for her father at Tully Heating and Plumbing. After starting her family, she went on to receive her Real Estate license.
Rosemary retired as the City Clerk of The City of Northport in 2009. During her retirement years, Rosemary enjoyed traveling internationally, playing the violin, volunteering in the community and practicing tai chi. And although she was an avid Auburn fan, Rosemary enjoyed hosting football weekends in Tuscaloosa for her family and friends. But mostly she enjoyed spending this time with her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an eternal optimist who was always there to brighten your day or give the encouraging words. And while she is so terribly missed, she is surely smiling and dancing with her husband to their song.
