Robert Wayne McNeill, 67, passed away on January 2, 2023. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 at Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Avenue SW in Birmingham, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00.
Mr. McNeill was born on July 2, 1955 to Elaine Williford McNeill and Robert Burns McNeill.
Mr. McNeill was a gentle giant with a deep voice and kind smile who never met a stranger. He enjoyed the mountains, working outdoors, and exploring the state parks.
Mr. McNeill is survived by his brother, Bruce (Lisa) McNeill and his nephew Robert (Emily) McNeill; and many cousins and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Elaine McNeill.
