He was born on May 31, 1951, to the late Scott and Julia Burton. Bobby is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Burton; and his brother, Bill Burton.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of over 30 years, Glenda Burton; two brothers, Wayne Burton and James Burton; sister-in-laws, Julianna Burton and Alyne Burton; two sisters, Frances Fowler; and Patsy (Jimmy) Bonner; stepson, Donald Tucker; three stepdaughters, Tina Samz; Kim Melton; and Melissa Cox. Grandson, Austin Burton; 13 step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Bobby will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 1:00 pm with a visitation beginning at noon. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Blount County.
