RICHARD “RICK” EARL WALDEN, age 72 of Odenville, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Marie Walden; daughter, Rebecca Bickerstaff; and sister, Linda Acker. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Walden; daughter, Stacey Walden; granddaughter, Alexandria Bickerstaff; son-in-law, Todd Bickerstaff; brother, Hal Walden (Lisa); sister, Bobbie Walden; several brothers and sisters in law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed a long career as a draftsman at M and J Materials. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5-7 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson beginning at 2:00.
