Polly was devoted to God and to family and deeply loved by them. No matter what life brought, her strong faith and sense of humor sustained her. Survived by daughters Martha Bohorfoush (Bob) and Mary Jackson (Shannon), her grandchildren Justin Bohorfoush (Lizzy), Clarke Bohorfoush (Micah), Mychal Hagin (Billy), great grandchildren Whit, Isabelle, Amelie, Skylar and Britt. Her life and influence were far outreaching, and most people lovingly called her “Miss Polly”.
Born and raised in Parrish, Alabama, she became valedictorian and homecoming queen at the local high school. She attended Howard College and later graduated from Samford as a registered nurse. She worked for 12 years at BMC-Montclair. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her honor.
