Peggy Mays

She is survived by her daughter, Traci Mays Bonds(Steve), and her son Todd Ernest Mays, and her grandchildren: Ashleigh Bonds McMurry(Tanner), and Zachary Bonds(Jeanne), and her great-grandchildren: Mila Jo And Mallie Jae. She is also survived by her uncle, James A. Woods(Gloria), and Aunt Ruth Woods Farris and many cousins.

She is a graduate of Fairfield High School. She was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by so many that knew her, and that she became to know. She will be deeply missed. She was a true inspiration that was loved by her family, and by so many more in her community. There truly is no expression that can be made on how big of a loss she was, and how she will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Peggy will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johns-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel, followed by a funeral service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at Johns-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel at 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211.
