Norris Leroy Hargett went home to be with Jesus on Sunday April 26, 2020 at the age of 86.
Leroy was born to Cecil and Thelma Hargett on April 15,1934 in Birmingham Alabama.
After Leroy graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School, he joined the Army where he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and he was Honorably discharged. He moved to Charlotte North Carolina, where he pursued his career and lived for many years, before he moved back home here in Alabama. Leroy was preceded in death by both of his parents, Cecil and Thelma Hargett and by his youngest sister LauRita Randall. He is survived by his sister, Juanita Marona and bunch of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
There will be a graveside service Friday May 1st , 2:30 pm at Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson Alabama.
With the provisions of Covid-19, we are limited to 10 people at the service. We want everyone to feel welcome to come by at your convenience and pay your respects after the funeral.
