SWANN, NORMAN Swann, Norman age 78 passed away Thursday June 7, 2012. He is survived by his former wife Patricia G. Swann, son Michael (Renee), daughter Christy Swann, sister Carol Swann (Charlie) Holt and brother Dean Crawford (Cynthia) Coe. He is also survived by his buddy and pal Albert. Mr. Swann grew up in Wylam, Alabama; he was a veteran of the United States Army and later served in the Alabama National Guard. He retired from Anderson Electric with 43 years of service. After his retirement he enjoyed his passions for golfing and fishing in Gulf Shores. He was a member Avondale United Methodist Church where he served as an usher for many years. Funeral service will be Sunday June 10, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday June 9, 2012 from 5 until 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in his honor, to the Jimmy Hale Mission or the LiveStrong Foundation.
