Nancy Lee Lawson passed away suddenly on October 29, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents Berlin and Kitty Lawson. She is survived by her son Michael Lang (Lynn); brothers Lynn Lawson and William Lawson (Cindy); grandchildren Mary Helen and Joshua Lang; and beloved companion Jim Rainey.
She was a long time resident of Birmingham. She taught hundreds of students to play the organ the “Kitty Lawson way” through her music instruction classes. She loved music, the arts, and animals. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday November 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society.
