STAFFORD, MICHAEL HOWELL, age 48, of Irondale, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. He is survived by his son, Sgt. Anthony M. Stafford (Kelsey); daughter, Amanda Stafford; and parents, Mitch and Nancy Stafford. Mike served in the U.S. Navy for 12 years and worked at Wingfoot Commercial Tire Center. He was a member of Birmala Lodge in Clay and Zamora Shrine Temple. He served the Shriners as a member of the Roadrunners escorting children to the hospitals and as a member of the Zamora World Famous Dune Buggies. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 beginning at 10 AM with Chaplain Doug Owens officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zamora Transportation Fund.
