Mary Jo Grigsby

Mary Jo Grigsby, age 95, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Jo is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Grigsby and a sister, Sara Moore. Jo is survived by her children, Robert "Sandy" Grigsby (Joretta), Bobbie Respress (Benny), Glyn Harrison (Rex), David Grigsby (Kathleen) and Sandra Barfield. Jo is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Grigsby, Jessica Bannister (Aaron), Peyton McDaniel, Leslie Sellers (Ray), Tyler Respress (Ashley), Jodie McNutt (Drew), Rob Harrison (Megan), Matthew Grigsby (Taylor), Adam Grigsby, Sara Grigsby, Mary Beth Hinson (Culby), Chad Barfield and 14 great grandchildren. A visitation for Jo will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's of Alabama with Castin'n Catchin' in the check memo attn: Laura Dunaway.
