CONNOLLY, MARY CATHERINE “PINKY”, age 85 of Blount County formerly of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. “Joe” Connolly; and sister, Jean Dulion. She is survived by her children, Carol Morton (Charles), Charles Connolly, Burke Connolly (Melissa) and Marian Clemons (Tony); sister, Anne Isbell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pinky was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and recently of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She retired from Medical Center East after a career in nursing. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 12-1 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery beginning at 2 PM.
