Margie Elizabeth Evans was born on January 8, 1938. She died on October 24, 2023 at the age of 85. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. George and Inez Parker; two sisters, Shirley Palmore and Martha Horst; one brother, Rev. Herbert Parker; one granddaughter, Bethany Brooke Evans. Margie is survived by her husband of close to 70 years, C.T. ”Bubba” Evans; one daughter, Judy Vines (Carlin); three sons, Tom Evans (Debra), Bill Evans (Sheila), and Tim Evans; nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Margie was a beloved wife and mother. She always showed the unconditional love of Jesus to her family and friends. She was a devoted and beloved member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She loved deeply her Savior and expressed her great faith in her daily life.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 12pm until 1 pm at Hopewell Baptist Church, 907 Hopewell Church Road, Pinson, AL 35126. A celebration of Margie’s life will follow at 1pm. Services will be officiated by her son, Dr. Bill Evans.
