Margaret Jordan Lawless

Lawless, Margaret Jordan, age 83 of Trussville, AL went home to be with her Lord on June 19, 2013. A lifelong Methodist, she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Trussville, serving her Lord in many capacities. She was born in Alexander City, AL, graduated West End High School in Birmingham, AL and attended Birmingham Southern College. She supported her husband in the family business of Jones-Lawless, Inc. a chain of men and boys clothing stores in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. She was preceded in death, by her husband, Owen Watson Lawless; parents, Meyer and Earline Jordan. Margaret is survived by her children, Michael “Mike” (Pam) Lawless, Alan (Charlene) Lawless and Ann (Danny) Phillips; eleven grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany) Lawless, Michelle Lawless, Brittany (Will) Chandler, Houston Lawless, Caraline Partin, Nathanael Partin, Maggie Partin, Jack Lawless, Lauren (Justin) Holland, Matt (Sarah) Phillips and Ashley Phillips; 3 great grandchildren, Riley and Reagan Holland and Ross Phillips. Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4 PM until 7 PM at First United Methodist Church of Trussville. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10 AM at First United Methodist Church of Trussville. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Trussville Building Fund.
